Your participation in the Festival Foods Grandad Half Marathon helps local charities. The 2019 event will benefit the 7 Rivers Region Outdoor Recreation Alliance (ORA), and the All Abilities Trane Park.
The Grandad Half Marathon has raised over $600,000 for charities since its inception in 2008. We thank the City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department for their commitment to fundraising and strive to match their contributions in the coming years.
7 Rivers Region Outdoor Recreation Alliance (ORA)
Through promoting silent sports and human-powered activities, ORA’s desire is to make La Crosse a premier outdoor location. We help contribute to the economic growth of the 7 Rivers Region by attracting and retaining active lifestyle employees and visitors seeking an active vacation, while fostering businesses and industries who support our activities.
All Abilities Trane Park
The All Abilities Trane Park is city-wide partnership of several groups to build the region's first all abilities park; specially designed to bring together children, families, and loved ones of all ages and ability levels to enjoy the many benefits of outdoor play and recreation.
